Yeah, the spelling of Funks Grove Pure Maple “Sirup” is questionable. But … you’re not supposed to spell it, you’re supposed to put it on pancakes. So, whether you’re just starting out on your journey or heading back to headquarters – this is a “don’t miss” stop!

Historic District, Galena, KS

You stop, you stroll, you take in the sights, and when you breathe in, you inhale the unmistakable presence of timeless nostalgia. This is a must stop, so, stop and enjoy being nestled in the calm, charming center of Anywhere, U.S.A. or well, Galena – you know, technically speaking.

Pop’s, Arcadia, OK

If you head down The Mother Road in Oklahoma you have to visit POPS! Check out the 66-foot tall pop bottle sculpture sitting out front and watch the sculpture’s LED lights. “Is there a diner,” you ask? Of course! Try a hand-dipped milkshake with a burger or BLT! You’re welcome.

Cadillac Ranch, Amarillo, TX

They say these late model Cadillacs have been nose down in the Texas soil since before the armadillo was invented (We’re checking “their” sources). Nevertheless, this is the most important stop on Route 66. Why? Because it’s Cadillac Ranch.

Winslow, Arizona

You may have heard of this town – sung about by the Eagles’ late Glen Fry in “Take It Easy.” Mosey around, or grab a bite at the Turquoise restaurant. What’s more, you’re just a short trip away from Holbrook, the Petrified Forest, and so many other awesome attractions. Oh, and if you want to stay in an epically cool hotel, try La Posada. It is so Route 66.

Elmer’s Bottle Tree Ranch, Oro Grande, CA

You know how Route 66 is known for strange attractions? Let’s just say that this spot certainly does nothing to alter that perception. An endless assembly of steel poles with bottles stuck on them is super fun to walk through an even better to photograph.
